Job Summary:
The Sales Consultant will prospect leads, sell and provide guidance about the Janitorial Manager product needed by customers in the appropriate target markets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
- Explains and demonstrates features of products using varying methods of communication.
- Collaborates with other departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that training for new customer is scheduled.
- Travels with the Janitorial Manager team to trade shows.
- Cross sells other SaaS products as appropriate.
- Remains informed about competing SaaS products to assure ability to overcome objections.
- Creates and maintains database of current and potential customers in CMS.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, or related field (or working toward) preferred.
- 1-2 years of Inside Sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel to meet with clients or potential clients, and attending trade shows will be required on occasion.
